You don&#8217;t have to hold a high position to experience stress from your job on a daily basis. Next to that these modern times expect a fast pace of life, time pressure, difficult interpersonal relationships, and professional demands. All this can lead to a significant increase in stress levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">However, there are many effective ways to reduce your stress level and your anxiety, and learn to control unwanted emotions. It is important to remember that only regular daily use of the methods in question will lead to noticeable results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here are some practical tips:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Meditation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Meditation is becoming an increasingly popular way to combat stress. This will help you to learn conscious breathing and it will allow to calm your thoughts, reduce tension in the body or regulate emotions. All of which are very helpful in reducing stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Research conducted by psychologist Sara Lazar of Harvard University confirms the effectiveness of meditation in reducing stress levels. She conducted a study on a group of 42 people who underwent daily practices of yoga, conscious breathing and meditation, while a second group of 25 practiced aorebo exercises. The study lasted for eight weeks. After that, they were subjected to a stressful situation. The psychologist and her colleagues found that the group was better able to cope with stress through meditation practices, were more composed and forgot the source of stress more quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Manage your time<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Effective time management, scheduling of responsibilities and short rest breaks at work are key to significantly reducing unnecessary stress. It is also important to take care of your work-life balance. In this case, it helps to find perspective, and to remember that work is just a part of your life, not all of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Communications<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Open and honest communication with superiors and co-workers is key. Express your needs and expectations, but also listen to others and allow them to do the same. This will save unnecessary conflicts and unsaid issues that generate a lot of stress. Don&#8217;t be afraid to share your feelings and difficulties with others. Talking can help ease the tension and help you understand that you are not alone in your experiences. Together, you will find that there is a solution to every problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Identify the cause of stress.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is important to know what causes us stress. Finding the cause will help control stress for this event, but also for a similar one. This will also allow us to prepare for such a situation, if we know what kind of situation is causing anxiety. The key is to find the cause, it could be overwork, conflicts with co-workers or even excess responsibilities or time pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is also important to remember that stress is a necessary emotion like any other. It&#8217;s what keeps us motivated. Also, it is important that find satifaction in your work as well as performing well at your job.
