Benefits

Knowledge of securing the company’s assets from the outside and inside, the ability to anticipate and prevent threats and proactively control the company’s most important business secrets.

In an age of evolving technology and global competition, a company’s knowledge and trade secrets are among its greatest assets. Protecting them effectively requires a strategic approach and the use of effective tools. In addition to technological solutions, the first line of defence is a properly formed policy, backed up by an understanding of the risks and legal tools for their prevention. From employee contracts, data protection, code regulations to severe penalties under non-disclosure agreements. In order to select the right tools for the situation, a good manager needs to know the options available to them, how effective they are and how to apply them within an ever-changing market.

The aim of the training course is to present the legal risks associated with corporate security. We will move from an outline of the available tools from the technological and organisational areas to legal issues. We will discuss ways of securing information within the organisation and in relations with partners and customers. We will point out examples of documentation and how to use them, discussing their effectiveness, variants and strengths and weaknesses. We will go through practical examples and together identify legal pitfalls that may be found in externally directed documentation.
