Civil law is an important factor regulating economic relations. It is the basis for most contracts, transactions and business activities. All relations between entrepreneurs and consumers, as well as between entrepreneurs themselves, are regulated by the provisions of civil law. Civil law also regulates issues related to intellectual property, protection of personal rights and issues related to civil liability, which is of key importance in industries such as IT, media and financial services.

The aim of the training is to learn the most important rights and obligations of entrepreneurs under civil law and the basic concepts and principles of civil law that are important in the context of running a business. The training will cover, among others: the concept of a civil law contract, civil liability, intellectual property law and ways of resolving disputes under civil law. The training will also address the issues of drafting contracts, protecting one’s own interests in commercial transactions, or enforcing one’s rights in the event of a breach of the contract by the contractor.
