Stress is a factor that constantly accompanies us in the modern world, determined by the multiplicity and speed of interactions and the related pressure of expectations exerted on us by our environment, but also often by ourselves. As a consequence, we are exposed to many very serious threats related to our mental health, the impact of stress on our well-being, productivity and attitude to life.

The aim of the training is to provide its participants with knowledge and skills in the use of effective techniques of coping with stress and developing resistance to stress. During the training, its participants will learn what are the phases of the body’s reaction to stress and how stress affects the body. The effects of stress – including physical, psychological and social – will be discussed. The main part of the training will be devoted to stress management techniques that will enable participants to identify the sources of stress and deal with them effectively. Relaxation techniques such as breathing exercises, meditation and yoga, physical activity as a way to reduce stress and stress management strategies such as time management and task delegation will be discussed. During the training, the issue of developing resistance to stress will also be discussed, including positive thinking as a way to reduce stress, developing the ability to cope with difficult situations and building social support. The culmination of the training will be the preparation of an action plan for the future and discussion of ways to maintain the attitudes and skills acquired during the training.
